kyyyyle 3 Report post Posted November 18, 2014 Some advice I received from friend when applying: Many programs, even if offering a scholarship, won't initially offer you the highest scholarship they're willing to provide. If you have offers for multiple schools on hand, by all means use them as negotiating leverage - tell the target school that you have a significant offer from a competing program that would make better financial sense for you, and ask if more funds are available to help sway your decision. 3 Umer, Sundus and Confused reacted to this
Confused 1 Report post Posted November 18, 2014 Thanks for the heads up. I am an international student looking to apply for a Public Policy degree. Would it be possible for you to share what kind of scholarships I am looking at? Schools don't usually advertise scholarships and because international students can't afford the tuition, we don't apply to schools we can't afford. It would be great to get an idea of what kind of opportunities are out there.
